Life in General

Ooooooh weeeeeee, such a cold & blustery morning. Makes a body want to crawl back in bed, pull the covers over the head & say forget any productive activities today. No sun, cloud cover & trees shaking in the freezing temperatures. Just a day for taking warm naps, eating cookies & drinking hot chocolate. If the snow doesn't fall & the temperatures stay in the 20's will be fine with me. Was reading the comments on Brandi, don't like the song either & I am Senior Citizen, I grew up with the birth of rock & roll. Also am finally tired of hearing Pop Christmas songs, the radio & TV have been playing the same ones since the 1st of November. Ahhhh well goes with the commercialism of Christmas. Still a wonderful nation to live in. I delight in the small wonders of life, a warm & comfortable bed @ night, hot water in the shower, being able to get out of bed, seeing, talking & hearing. Family to love, the small wonders of everyday life. Not having to fall out at the crack of dawn, go out in the frigid world to start the car. Being retired has its perks. So much for my meandering around. Have a peaceful day, smile @ someone.
