Winter Has Arrived

Winter has finally arrived here in Oklahoma. BahhhhhHumbug. I am thankful I don't live in the northeast or far north as Montana. The areas have inundated with frigid temps, snowstorms and blowing wind. We have the blowing wind but until yesterday afternoon, the temps were making history being so warm, then about 3:00 P.M. that changed drastically. We now are 17 degrees, lil snow on the ground. Glad I have Christmas almost done, cards sent, decorations up. Our children are grown and on their own, we have grandchildren, great grandchildren all out of state so our time is our own until the Holidays. We are both retired, do pretty much what we want to. Thinking about testing the snowbird route, cold weather takes it toll as a person ages. We are still active, hubby bowls in a senior citizen league, I have volunteered, grew weary of that when my health took a plunge and now that I am back to normal, ready to do something different. Been reading a lot of the blogs, lots of interesting, talented people in this country. Time to read some more blogs.
